INJURY REPORT

Jason Thompson (Kings Starting PF) -Sore Wrist, Day-to-Day- : "I guess I'm too intense of a shot blocker! But in all seriousness, it's just a little sore. If anything, I might miss one game from it."
Sources do say that Alex Best may slide Cousins to PF their next game and start Dalembert at Center.

Post-Game Interviews

Alex Best (King's Head Coach): "Despite the win, this game sorta freaked me out. I mean, their starts were still scoring 10+ points, yet were shooting terribly. I'm glad our defense stepped up all game, or else we would've been crushed."

Omri Casspi (King's Player Of The Game): "This is when basketball is fun. When we're winning against good teams. I think we have a shot at making the playoffs!"

DeMarcus Cousins (King's Game Changer): "Woah man, I'm not use to a microphone in my face. It felt good to make a difference again and get the teams attention, that I'm still a valuable asset to the starting roster."

Kings Bench Closes Out 4th Quater Over Hornets

What a game from Sacramento (I know, I always say that.) All around great play from the Kings, and the Hornets fell short from some key players they needed. Let's break down this game, and look out for a review on the fourth quater, which was only played by the King's bench (PG: Jeter, SG: Taylor, SF: Wright, PF: Greene, C: Dalembert)
  • Both teams shot 51% from the field. Three pointers were what seperated them. 9 for Kings and 3 for Hornets.
  • Kings couldn't crash the boards this game, out rebounded 30 to 21.
  • Let's take a look at the FOURTH QUATER: Kings shot 62% over Hornets 43%. 9 assists to 4. 2 blocks. 10 points in the paint over the 6 from Hornets. They also got on the break 6 to 2. However, they were outscored 22 to 21 (close for them playing the starters of the hornets) and pushed them to the foul line 5 times.
  • Jameer Nelson (PG) - Was quiet all game long. He didn't get his normal high-assist game either. 9 points, 5 assists, but did manage to get 3 steals.
  • Omri Casspi (SG) - Slowly developing into a star player. 7-10 with 5-6 from deep. 19 points, and 3 assists.
  • Tyreke Evans (SF) - FIRST GAME ALL SEASON Evans did not score more than 15 points. Only 9 from the star, with a block to his name. 3-10 shooting, 1-4 from deep. Cold night.
  • Jason Thompson (PF) - An average defensive showing this game. 4 points, 2 steals, and a block.
  • DeMarcus Cousins (C) - He must read this paper. The kid bounced back from a long slump. 15 points, 7-7 from the field!
  • Samuel Dalembert (Bench C) - Arguably the best defender on the Kings roster. 2 blocks, 1 steal, 7 points.
  • Eugene Jeter (Bench PG) - Got the team's highest assist total. 8 assists, 6 points.
  • Chris Paul tried to carry his team. However, failed with only 5-12 shooting, 1-3 from deep. Managed a double-double with 14 points and 10 assists.
  • Where was Trevor Ariza? 4-12, terrible 0-4 from deep. He still managed 13 points and 6 rebounds.

Hornets are now (4-9)
Kings are now (11-8)
